Very prestigious award from the Navy's Office of Naval Research (ONR)

An Electrical and Computer Engineering (EECE) graduate student, Savion Siner, received a very prestigious award from the Navy's Office of Naval Research (ONR) for a 10-week research program. 

"We are delighted to announce that Mr. Savion Siner has been awarded a prestigious research internship through the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP), sponsored by the Navy's Office of Naval Research (ONR). Mr. Siner, a recent BS graduate from our EECE department, is currently in his first year of master's studies, focusing on space-based power systems.

NREIP is a highly competitive program that offers talented students a 10-week summer research experience in Department of Navy laboratories. This opportunity will allow Mr. Siner to work alongside top scientists and engineers, gaining valuable hands-on experience that complements his graduate studies.
