Programs

Our undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs focus on mastering emerging technologies while cultivating your excitement for learning that extends beyond graduation.

Our programs designed so you have practical experiences that will prepare you for a global and diverse workplace. Above all, we want you to understand and appreciate the impact of technology in society and the world at large. That's why you can begin working with robotics teams as a freshman or sophomore, compete, and continue the department's legacy of finishing at the top.

We've also launched two satellites in cooperation with NASA — the Cajun Advanced Picosatellite Experiment (CAPE) — in 2007 and 2013. Our pioneering CAPE program will give you invaluable hardware and software engineering experience, plus exposure to project management, fundraising, and multi-agency interactions.

Or, while you're enrolled, join the Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program, where you can get a jump start on collegiate-level research. A team of freshmen just recently developed an app with a dynamic 3-D virtual reality view of UL Lafayette's campus. If you take advantage of the programs we have available for you, we can help you land that co-op or internship, and then a great job after graduation.
