What We Offer
CAPE offers its members a very rare and exciting opportunity to get involved in aerospace development at the undergraduate level. Members don’t need need any prior knowledge of programming and electronics. In fact, we routinely recruit from beginner computer science and electrical/computer engineering courses. You’ll get a chance to learn from more experienced members and industry mentors in a far more hands on kind of environment then you will experience in a classroom or even a lab. Through working with CAPE you can learn a great deal about using micro-controllers, applied RF communication (digital and analog), computer programming at an embedded level, implementing electronics in aerospace applications, creating professional hardware schematics, and constructing PCB layouts.
