The CAPE-Twiggs CubeSat project is an exciting new partnership with Mr. Bob Twiggs, co-inventor of the CubeSat standard!
Mission: Education. CAPE-Twiggs will offer STEM K-12 students the opportunity to experience the full life cycle of a space satellite mission by giving them SlimSat Modules (SSM) to develop space experiments with. This primary mission is called the High School Slimsat Space Initiative 26 (HSSSI 26).
HSSSI 26: The High School Slimsat Space Initiative 26 is for STEM K-12 schools who have a mentor and a team of students who want to experience the full lifecycle of a satellite. Secondary Mission: Science. CAPE-Twiggs will use the SSMs to study the effectiveness of the SSM cluster as a scientific collaborative experimental tool, called the Scientific Coordination and Collaboration (SCAC).
